hi Nathan,
see flagged emails.
Alkira & Barge targetline have been servicing nav aids in the jacobs channel, currently abeam of APLNG berth - requesting a no wash from approximately
0600-1800
- see NTM 73(T)/2022.
take care when refueling, twice this swing the starboard fuel guage jumped from 60% - 100% - on one occasion the fuel breather was heard. normally I can fill to around 75% and slow the flow until it hits 80% before it jumps.
08/02 -MRF#8380 -Brodie changed out Joystick with a new one as old one was failing - it would freeze up at 10-15* to starboard and was unable to return it midships on either main or emergency pack.
12/02 ESA attended the vessel for fixed & portable fire systems. New certificates are in the sms with expired ones taken to the office.
1x crew pfd taken to office for servicing & swapped out 13/02
per ConocoPhillips inspection that you completed last swing - 1E vessels do not require life jackets to have lights fitted. I believe that the inspector commented on this in the last audit.
MRF#8396 - port fire pump suction hose was leaking. - maintenance replaced suction hose & pump impellers - 14/02.
MRF#8034 - rain water in engine room - Brodie attended vessel (09/02) and sealed deck in exhaust stack, I have closed the MRF as it appears to have fixed the leak - I have hosed the deck and nothing entered the engine room. Please monitor in heavy rain.
Maintenance onboard to replace starboard fire pump drive belt and alternator belt & port alternator belt 15/02.
vibration and load is still evident in starboard main misfiring- load will reach upwards of 84% @ 1750rpm, by reducing rpm to idle and increasing back to 1750rpm it seems to settle itself back around 63-67% - Followed up with Brodie 27/02 and was not given any updates however it have been noticbly worse toward the end of this swing. - placed additional MRF in #8446
MRF#8413 - port engine room bilge manifold line (flexible hose) that passes into engine room split and build up of salt observed. (Photo attached to MRF)
18/02/2023 - Emailed Willie regarding damage to port hull paint that occurred whilst I berthed the vessel in the marina. - scuffing of paint and slight paint damage. Incident report submitted as requested.
Emailed Rob (Willie on leave and Rob on duty phone) regarding depths at Cp1 & Cp3 - on low tide 21/02 & 22/02 I observed 0.6m at cp3 southern berth & 0.8m at Cp1 eastern berth.
Generator failed to run 22/01 due to gen under voltage fault - operated Wednesday - Friday without genset online. Maintenance removed exciter winding and refitted 24/02.
MRF#8424- salt build up around window frames in main cabin area.
MRF#8443 - main cabin door aft stbd - top hinge needs replacing / repairing
MRF#8445 - Fitting for shaft seal hose that connects into sea chest on starboard side is leaking. cheers
stores order placed last week.
sullage guage still faulty - currently stuck on 15%. - Sullage pumped to empty 28/02.
Vessel bunkered fuel 28/02 to 80%.
cheers, have a good swing.
