Joined vessel 7/12//22
* 8/12/22 When running fire pumps for fire drill had a lot of air in the manifold and it took quite a while to pass with reduced flow from hose the port impellor got a little warm , however it come good eventually, the port strainer was leaking when running pump so resecured and running ok now. 11/12/22 had the same issue when doing weekly checks with low flow of fire hose and have found fire hose kinked in reel which when straightened out enhanced flow considerably
* 8/12/22 - 20/12/22 Steering MRF that is in place is stating fixed and ships representative to close out, nothing has changed as far as the MRF I submitted and I not closing out yet as I have had on a few occasions daily, the steering operate without moving the joystick, spoke with Gene on 10/12/22 and he said they have ordered some parts, the steering only moves a few degrees when this fault occurs I have never had it go hard over
* 9/12/22 see flagged email received regarding gates at pontoons to be locked overnight
* 9/12/22 When joining vessel at 0500 hrs the vessel was dead ship due to earth leakage tripped on the bollard on the dock and was only tripped not long before arriving on the boat as the ups was still active. We had rain 10 hrs earlier but not sure why it was tripped on the dock? After running for half an hour on ships power the vessel earth leakage tripped in A/C distribution board and by process of elimination it was determined A/C unit # 1 (wheelhouse) was tripping the earth leakage and several attempts throughout the morning to bring wheelhouse unit back online resulted in earth leakage tripping. ACES contractors attended the vessel @ 0940hrs and we could not fault it? I was made aware that the previous week had the same issue with A/C # 2 & A/C # 3 units ? The contractors need the fault to be apparent to rectify. There is a portable fan in the wheelhouse if the A/C trips out again, it is new and still in box and will be test and tagged when other items due in January I have been advised. * 11/12/22 found seat on aft deck fwd row centre broken when doing weekly checks MRF submitted

* 14/12/22 new wiper blades x 3 fitted and removed from under the dash any items that were obsolete and sent to slipway (old disused bulbs, boxes of specific use bolts, light assemblies, sail track, and other disused items)

* 16/12/22 crew serviced the anchor winch as it was difficult to free spool until weight of anchor was aweigh and discovered the chain peeler feeding chain into the hawse pipe was dislocated and catching on chain gypsy, MRF was submitted and maintenance relocated chain peeler spike to serviceable position,, test run anchor winch , all operational
* 17/12/22 Have located water leak in port engine room, it is inside the housing for the air intake and exhaust at deck level, so whenever washdown or rain pools on the aft deck it enters the housing through a drain hole just aft of engine hatch at deck level, and am guessing through a crack in the deck then into engine room, maintenance advised. I have a bucket located in port engine room aft outboard side to catch water, please empty if it rains and place back for catchment
