Hi Annemaree,
vessel is running ok, nothing out of the ordinary to report.
- See new schedule with shutdown hours, the vessel is currently doing only runs to and from GL2 and QC4.
- Read through the flagged emails, especially in regards to the following matters:
- We have had issues with passengers carrying on the boat heaps of boxes and the fact that we don't know what's inside them and whether they are allowed to carry them onboard, see flagged email about this from Willie where he says that if anyone carries excessive quantities or bulky items you are to phone operations duty number and seek approval to carry them and also ask passengers if we suspect they are carrying dangerous goods. I did email them back asking if the screening for this can be done from security at the turnstiles instead. Just read through the flagged emails.
- Large medical vessel will be at the service wharf from 25/10 till 31/10 taking up the middle and western side of the wharf, refuelling still allowed on eastern end but you might have to book in advance and keep in mind Friday and Saturday fishing charter boats.
- Mask use has been put back in place for the duration of the shutdown.
- Dredge Brisbane operating in the harbour.
- Davit winch test due in November.
- Taken MSDS folder off the vessel and returned to office since we don't have to carry the paper copy anymore with the new Chemwatch system.
- Torch found in the wheelhouse, not sure if it belongs to any of your crew, I've asked all the engineers that were onboard this swing and doesn't belong to any of them.
Have a good swing and feel free to give me a call if you have any questions.
Ale.
