Hi guys,
Vessel is running well
Been busy with shutdown but all has been running smoothly.
As your aware Jai you need to stand off for vessels to depart and come in between departures so hopefully you can explain the procedure to Paul when you hand over to him. There are multiple emails of directions on how it all works if you’d like clarification and guidance.

Have a safe and enjoyable swing gents
PM swing ; in the mornings, on the 0500 we have been loading to 110 before loading Canaipa, and then we try leave about 0459 to get away first once we know there are no more pax, Caniapa ends up with about 100 pax so it works out well. We then come back to CP1 and stand off until Palm Cat leaves at 0525 and we then go in before Monarch leaves at 0530 so we can load and leave in time for the 0540.(basically we need to berth in that gap between the 0525 and 0530) Just cruise over on the 0540 because we have to wait for Monarch to pull out of CP3 and stand off so we can unload, once unloaded we pull out and stand off ASAP so Monarch can load for their 0610. After that it’s happy days!
The gauge on the Genset oil pressure has been playing up (needle gets stuck all the over) it comes good and if you shut down and start up again it works, maintenance know and it will probably get replaced, hasn’t happened for a while now so maybe it’s come good!
The spring on the stbd side too the pontoon berth at CP1 (Eastern side) is a touch longer now than it used to be, it works but ideally could be a bit shorter, this in turn makes the stern cleat and the post line up right on each other. Best to make the decky be aware to be careful putting the stern line on (make sure to use tag line) as there isn’t much room between the post fender and cleat when the vessel pulls up. We shortened the fwd spring a bit but it has been changed back again, maybe it works better for Caniapa who use this berth the most, but we have made everyone aware and ideally the fwd spring needs to shortened a foot (can’t do a wrap on the bollard as who ever made the fixed eye really small that’s on the bollard)
We still have a battery voltage symbol pop up every now and then but it doesn’t effect anything, maintenance are well aware of it. No need for the batteries to be paralleled, we haven’t had any alarms or issues other than the odd symbol flash up momentarily on engine start up.
Changes to bunkering booking times, see email, shouldn’t effect us unless we need to bunker outside of the normal hours we bunker, see email.
The Bruce mooring light is sometimes not visible from certain angles, although the light itself is working, I’ve notified Willie, not sure if they will put a light on a small post to make it more visible but if you can’t see the light, give it a minute from a different angle and you will probably find it is working.
Have a good one, Liam.
