Hi Annemaree,
vessel is running ok, not much to report.
I've sent 3 lifejackets up to get tagged, we have got brand new ones onboard but 2 of them are not tagged, Emma will advise when the other ones are ready to swap again. She will get the red heavy ones up to the office again I think and will give you some orange plastic ones back once she has them ready. The board will need to be updated with the dates once we have them.
Sean England came onboard last week and we spoke about the liferaft issue, I had a look at it and the fact that it was put in the case the wrong way around doesn't make sense to me, I also notice that the fwd one on the Stbd side has the opening toward the outside instead of the inside like they told you, but I don't think that's an issue, once it's in the water it will still pop open no matter what side the opening is facing, I still reckon that it should be rotated. Sean was going to find out more about it.
STB Genset hours have caught up to normal, Tim instructed Jag to run one genset per day and alternate each day.
Fresh water pump has been replaced and tender fuel tank has been moved fwd.
Test and tag has been done on all vessel equipment.
Bullivants coming onboard to inspect Unirail and winch on the 23rd of August and has been added to the calendar.
New ships and engineer log started a couple of days ago, I left the old ones onboard in case you need to go through them for something.
See flagged emails, especially the one regarding refuelling (needs to be done within certain hours because the valves are turned on by the guys in the shop in the corner until further notice).
Electrical and mega test certificate is due tomorrow, I've call maintenance crew up to see if it was booked and Nathan said it came up on their PM system and are aware of it, he was going to check with Gene tomorrow if that was already booked.
Have a good swing.
Ale.
