* 22/6/22 port main was down on boost and I vacuumed and blew out dirty air filter and had a slight increase in boost, ended up swapping port air filter with stbd and increased the boost by 0.3 bar @ 2000 rpm, have submitted ESR for 1 x air filter and 20 lts main engine oil VALVOLINE profleet LS 10w-40 on 23/6/22, new air filter fitted to port main engine 23/6/22, it is an aftermarket filter and doesn’t fit as well as the original and has come adrift a few times on the 24/5/22, finally had a bit of luck and is staying secure now
* 22/6/22 engine oil leaking at fwd end of port main engine , have wiped bilge and placed oil spill pad to contain on beam at fwd end
* 23/6/22 Genset had 250/500 hour service conducted at 9553 hours and the faulty fan for Genset replaced
* 23/6/22 email received stating that fenders not to be used while boarding / disembarking pax due to gap issue and is fine to be used when berthed alongside and shutdown
* 25/6/22 updated certificate register for compass swing and first aid kit that was done at the start of June
* 25/6/22 port void 1 bilge alarm activated @ 0835 hrs , shut down Genset immediately and disembarked passenger and investigated and found 1500 lts of salt water in the bilge. The pump had failed and was leaking severely. Approval was received to remove water from bilge and maintenance attended at FLNE and fitted new Davey 240volt raw water pump. Bilge was then dried completely then fresh water was used to clean void then fresh water removed , mopped dry then ragged entire void dry. Strainer in void also cleaned and all OK @ 1205 hrs
* 26/5/22 Genset fuel return line to bleeder valve hose had diesel leak and was hard and brittle and had splits in hose and was replaced by maintenance at FLNE. I have placed a small piece of same size hose in spares tub in the roof and a couple of clamps if ever needed
* 26/5/22 Genset analogue oil pressure gauge was reading hard over to the right when Genset is running and after searching for fault it come good by itself and it does this quite often.
* 28/5/22 The port main raw water pump has been leaking salt water at the flange that joins the pipe to the heat exchanger and MRF submitted
* 29/6/22. Starting battery bank for main engines indicator showing “replace” on both batteries, these batteries were fitted 21/5/21. Voltage and charging systems are all ok. Spoke to Gene Mitchell and he said they have had a few like this and on other vessels with the same deal have been removed, recharged and load tested and all good and reinstalled so we are to monitor for now
* 29/5/22 The hull below waterline is dirty and vessel speed with 72 pax was 19 knots @ 2090 rpm with slack tide conditions, I have requested hull to be blasted prior to upcoming shutdown, email received 30/6/22 stating slipway out of service will attend to in the future
* Email flagged received from E Seymour clarifying passenger transfer request for ships crew received 29/5/22
* 30/6/22 Genset control box is loose on its mounts MRF submitted
* 30/6/22 ordered new muster station stickers for faded ones on the bow however Cindy is on leave until 19/7/22 so they might come then
* 30/6/22 stbd toilet fan is u/s cutting in and out randomly for short times the rest of the time it stays off. MRF submitted , the fan was replaced 6/7/22
* 4/7/22 Voltage alarm on STBD Scania panel coming up on startup and have been operating vessel with the batteries paralleled, MRF submitted 5/7/22 - Have also had voltage alarm come up with the batteries in parallel
* Divers continually working under service wharf , have been berthing and departing from there operating the vessel with minimal bubbles from the jets. The TAMS crew are very appreciative of this
* New bank of batteries replaced 6/7/22 for engine start/running and no longer running in parallel after old batteries which were just over 12 months old failed load test
* 250 hr service done on mains 6/7/22 with engine hours @ 1802hrs , this was for anode change only and the anodes were well and truly used up

* found a press stud repair kit in the stbd side side pocket looks like it’s been there for awhile, and have the retaining strap for the port aft curtain inside it now, am waiting for a maintenance day as the curtain needs to come off to effect the repair

* 6/7/22 search light switch is faulty, and sometimes won’t activate search light, sometimes works by turning it on quickly/forcefully, sometimes with a knock , MRF submitted 7/7/22
* 8/7/22 submitted MRF for leaking diesel fitting on Genset fuel return line bleeder valve that has been slowly getting worse
* 8/7/22 email inbox has a warning that it is full have been deleting old irrelevant emails working from 2018 forward to free up space

# STB main battery low voltage alarm starting to appear again - new MRF has been submitted
- Voltage alarm active on digital panel and COO when taking off throttle
- start and house paralleled to remove alarm
- while in parallel, when taking off power on approach to ferry terminal, battery voltage light on both analog and digital panel illuminated but no audible alarm present.
