Welcome back on swing.
It has been pretty busy with the shutdown now in full swing
> Vessel has had half of both hulls scrubbed ( winch failed and could not get the vessel all the way up out of the water)
> Currently no UHF house radio ( receives but transmits intermittently) MRF is in. Using phone at the MOT to communicate with security.
> While the shutdown is on an announcement is to be made prior to arrival at QC4 ( 0530 &1730 runs only) to let the operators to disembark first, also prior to departure Shell HSE announcement for correct wearing of face masks.
> Parangool is to arrive and disembark first on the 0530 & 1730 runs. Spirit will manage it's speed to allow this to happen.
> Vessel crew PFD's are due for service. One has been swapped out ,waiting on another to return from service to change the other. The office should let you know when it's ready but maybe worth chasing up.
> Night shift is to do the prestarts on "Capricornian Spirit ", sometime before their stand to time of 0430.
We have been checking oils and coolants on the main engines, jet hydraulic and bearing fluids, engine & jet room bilge alarms and pumps,
engine room & cabin fire alarms. No start up required, leave seacocks closed and battery isolators off. Note all in ships log.
> If Dayshift have any pax for the 1900 departure from QC4 the destination is GL2 at Port Central, there are lines and a ramp setup but it's a bit
messy as ther are lines for 3 boats , so best check it out when you can prior to doing that run.
