Hi Annemaree,
boat is running ok.
- Tender winch has been replaced but no test and tag on it, I've been told that being a brand new unit it doesn't require test and tag for the first 3 months, so I've updated the board in the wheelhouse with June 2022 as the test and tag expiry date on it so that we can chase it back up then to get it done. See email reply from Rob confirming that we can now operate the winch.
- Tender motor has been taken off for servicing, spare motor is on but we lost the kill switch key while running it for a drill a couple of days ago. I've put in an SRF for a new kill switch under MAINTENANCE, so it should go straight to them.
- We replaced fwd springer and stern lines at both GL3 and QC4 sites. All spare lines that we have onboard are kept in void n 1 on the Stbd side (void on the bow inside the vessel). We also have onboard about 40 metres of brand new 32mm line(I ordered some to make up some lines for a charter at CP1-CP3 but didn't end up using it) in case you want to replace some other lines.
- Kelly Brown has been onboard in the afternoon from 1400 to 1800 doing training, we done everything we could with her but she would need to be onboard the vessel during the morning to be able to finish signing her off, as she hasn't been able to see any PreStart checks or completing the drills, refuelling or pumping sullage. She told Willie about it and he said he'll think about it as she can only do 8 hours a day. I've only managed to get her to see a MOB one afternoon and a FIRE DRILL another afternoon in between runs. Also just keep having the crew watching her while she ties up lines and go nice and slow for her, she still needs a bit of practice.
- Pest control completed onboard the vessel on the 24/03/2022
- See other flagged emails!
Have a good swing,
Ale.
