<p>Gday paul, hold your breath.</p> <p>See flagged emails. <br /> <br /> vessel was on slip 12/03-13/03 - port gearbox replaced - you can hear and feel when you engage, hull and grid coolers were pressure washed, port & starboard shaft seals were replaced - tide seal. <br /> vessel was on slip again 22/03 - 26/03 - starboard main engine was replaced with a reconditioned one, hull pressure washed, new anti fouling applied, props and rudders had prop speed applied, some hull anodes and rudder anodes replaced, white bootstrip was acid wash and if looking fresh again. </p> <p>10/03/2022 - monthly checks were completed.</p> <p>10/03/2022 - generator sensors were cleaned of corrosion - new coolant temp sensor has been ordered. Coolant sensor replaced 16/03/2022.</p> <p>15/03/2022 - starboard main engine alignment checked by Brodie. <br /> 18/03/2022- new forward spring & aft spring was made for marina berth </p> <p>21/03/2022 - new foward spring at CP1 starboard side to berth </p> <p>25/03/2022 - port and starboard engine rooms were degreased and hosed out. </p> <p>26/03/2022 - yearly checks completed and submitted </p> <p>Unfortunately had 2 mechanical incidents this swing, incident reports are available to view on dataweb. loss of both main and auxillary steering systems - Maintance aware and are going to investigate, and whilst operating at normal rpm #1 cylinder on starboard main engine was destroyed. </p> <p>main and emergency steering has been failing whilst underway - Maintance is aware and will fit a new relay to hopefully fix the issue. - steering is out slightly midships is around 3-4deg to port, I have tried to align but it keeps falling out of alignment. Might be worth having a chat to Maintance to get it aligned again.</p> <p>new starboard main engine has a header tank fitted to the engine and old tank has been removed, new dipstick is also on inboard side up forward - we will have to put a Moc of change to update the sms to reflect this. </p> <p>port stern tube has a small leak, Brodie attempted a repair which has slowed the flow of water but will need to be completed when vessel is slipped for shaft survey this year. </p> <p>starboard shaft seal has a very slight leak. </p> <p>port engine room fire alarm has been false alarming every couple of days, MRF is in place. Each alarm has been investigated with no additional heat or smoke present. </p> <p>starboard digital cluster is not showing engine hours regularly, so we have been estimating hours until it displays accurate hours. </p> <p>a crack in the deck where the exhaust passes through on the aft deck has been repaired - this should now stop water from entering the engine room and damaging the lagging. </p> <p>first aid kit was serviced - next due June 2022. </p> <p>possible power outage at marina berth 29/03-05/04 - see email flagged.</p> <p>there are a few things that will be due in April - monthly's, two Weeklys, test & tag and gas sniffer. <br /> insurance is due 31.03.2022. <br /> <br /> ipad has a cracked screen - Willie is aware and hopefully we can get a new screen. </p> <p>it has been requested that we follow a new seating plans and place new signage on 21 seats "reserved for Ops" - email chain flagged, we don't have any signs onboard to do this so Emma is chasing up new signs sometime this week. </p> <p>There are some fender socks in he store room, I only picked them up on our last day so I haven't changed them out yet.</p> <p>small stores order placed 29/03/22</p> <p>Quote of the swing "what you fixed it instead of scrapping it" - Conoco employee</p> <p> </p> <p>MRF's from this swing</p> <p>#7399 port main engine gearbox - high pitch squeal and thump when engaging and disengaging gears. - completed 12/03/2022 (Still thumping a little when engaging, it not meshing in nicely, keep an eye on it we may have to follow it up again)<br /> #7400 main cabin deckhead leaking in several spots after heavy rain</p> <p>#7401 Genset sensors - inspect and clean - completed 10/03/2022 </p> <p>#7415 marina fire hose leaking - fixed 18/03/2022</p> <p>#7425 port engine room fire alarm false activation </p> <p>#7423 starboard main engine digital cluster (was on port until it was swapped) not showing engine hours. - rejected<br /> #7439 main and auxillary steering systems occasionally inop. <br /> </p> <p>don't hesitate to call me if you need any thing at all. <br /> Cheers Jai </p>
