<p>Hi Annemaree,</p> <p>vessel is ok, just been having issues with Stbd genset again, over cranking fault at start up pretty much every day and when it runs it randomly shuts down even with 2 gensets running to spread the load. Waiting for Aces to come onboard and assess.</p> <p>ESA Fire came onboard to do fire equipment checks but by the looks of it they only did the fire extinguishers. We have the certificate for the, but missing other forms, I've sent an email to Gene and Willie about it, have a read at that. Fire hoses are not in test, don't know if they did them and forgot to stamp or if they haven't done them at all. FM200 seems in test ( done in October) but no certificate for them.</p> <p>I've fixed a few spots with the blue vinyl on STBD side, haven't had time to do the Port side, I've been on Parangool most of the time during the Christmas holidays and crew was all over the shop to cover for other deckhands. I've stored the 2 big rolls of vinyl downstairs in the crew cupboard on the Stbd aft.</p> <p>Use of mask mandatory on all runs.</p> <p>A few flagged emails to read for your info.</p> <p>Timetable has changed, new runs added from Monday 10th and new procedures for disembarking 0630 run, see email from Emma. We had a crew member at the stairs when boarding in the morning to remind them of operations and maintenance only to top deck and I've been sounding 2 chimes, 1 st one for lower deck then after 5 minutes of clearing Lower deck sounded second chime for the top deck. I made an announcement before berthing. Also I've kept 1 crew at the top to make sure they weren't going down on first chime.</p> <p>Loius Alvarez onboard Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday for engineer training. </p> <p>Safety harnesses taken up to office for service.</p> <p>Test and tag on vessel has been completed last week.</p> <p>Had issues on Monday the 10th during 0730 run, big vibrations started on the port aft main due to something sucked up in the jet. Backed flushed again once back in the Marina and Brodie inspected to make sure everything was ok. Running fine after that.</p> <p>We started checking and repacking all the lifejackets, top deck has been completed, can you please advice Willie and Gene once they have all been completed and I told Gene that once we finish with it we we submit the yearly checks, otherwise we have to do them all again in 4 months(not that keen!! Lol)</p> <p>Parangool is having maintenance completed tomorrow the 11th, they need Spirit on standby until is fixed, see email from Emma.</p> <p>Our wheelhouse aircon unit has started to play up yesterday, it's icing up on one side, Walter is aware and will keep an eye on it tomorrow, if it does it again will MRF.</p> <p>Everything else is running ok.</p> <p>Have a good swing!<br /> Ale.</p>
