<p>Canaipa handover, only been onboard for a couple of days but here’s what I know. </p> <p>⚓️ On Friday 19/11 (Ian Plath master) port side Cutless bearing failure, causing damage to stern gland and shaft. Vessel was slipped over the weekend and now has had new cutless bearing, pss seals changed out for tide seal and now has a 24V pump hooked inline feeding water to the seal to keep cool. </p> <p>⚓️ Stb side has also had the pss seal changed out to a tide seal and a 24V pump hooked up inline to feed water to seal.</p> <p>⚓️ Stores have been ordered. During swing stores either did not arrive or got extra of what we already have. Should hopefully get truck wash this week.</p> <p>⚓️ Fueling, had to bunker fuel on Monday afternoon to cover BK maintenance Tuesday morning. </p> <p>⚓️ Cleaned and vacuumed out port and stb bilges Monday morning. Still a bit of water getting into port bilge from stern tube. Have not replaced soak pads in port side due to water still leaking into bilge. Maintenence is aware.</p> <p>⚓️ DVD remote broken, yet to find replacement.</p> <p>⚓️ Maintenance checks up to date.</p> <p>⚓️ Have a good swing if I think of anything I’ll let you know.</p> <p>kind regards</p> <p>Shane Wolff.</p> <p> </p>
