<p>Welcome back hope you all had a good 3 week’s off. </p> <p>MRF’s.</p> <p>Port 24v bilge Pump making loud noise when testing at times. Maintenance are waiting on a new bilge pump to arrive.</p> <p>STB throttle cable snapped last Friday, new cable has been ordered, maintenance removed the old spare cable that was tied up in port engine room and changed out broken cable on stb side. The old cable that is now fitted to stb throttle is very stiff when powering up and down. I haven’t been running past 1600rpm as the throttle gets tighter the further you push it down. It still go’s In and out of gear fine. We have been told to utilise Torresian for any extra runs where possible to minimise the risk of the throttle cable breaking again. You can also hear engine noise coming up though the throttle cable and it gets louder as you power up. New cables are due to arrive Thursday.</p> <p>New windsreen wiper fitted to stb wiper.</p> <p>Stb Fire alarm panel still alarming at end of test sometimes.</p> <p>Front row of seats are starting to sink and also burn marks in one that looks to be from hot knife. </p> <p>New rechargeable torch on stb dash don’t drop it on your toe. </p> <p>Mainenance has advised that Genset is just about due for a service. </p> <p>Vessel was slipped for 24hrs for out of water survey. Why it was on the slip I had some spare time to keen the front half of the tunnel to remove dirty water stains.</p> <p>the kettle is leaking water if you fill it right up. Seems to be ok if you only boil enough water for a couple cups at a time. Have requested a new kettle in this week’s stores.</p> <p>Have changed the anchor out with the one from the stores cupboard. Maintenance going to get old anchor sand blasted and galvanised.</p> <p>All maintenance checks are up to date. No new chart corrections this swing.</p> <p>Other then a couple issues mentioned above Vessel has been running well. </p> <p> </p> <p>Hope you have a good swing. </p> <p> </p> <p>Kind regards </p> <p>Shane. </p>
