Extra pax for shut down has started, check shedual for any extra runs, and procedures for departing. There will be more information on departing times working with Spirit and Canaipa this week.
Conico has made masks mandatory on the ferries, check emails, this looks like it will go through until at least the end of shutdown. We are to wear masks on runs when we have pax. I have been leaving a box full on the luggage rack so anyone without one can grab one. It is our job to remind passengers getting on the ferry that masks are required and offer them one, if they do not comply with this it is not our job to confront them or enforce the rule, we are to call security and they can come down to the vessel and deal with it. If we run low on masks we can get more from security, but there is still plenty on board.
CCTV (DVR) had a wig out and I noticed it wasn’t recording, I then noticed the time and date was on 1/1/2000 and time way off, it had somehow reset itself?!! It’s operating fine now but keep an eye on it as it could possibly do it again. We are getting a whole new system when we get the engines put in so, like the engines, it just has to get us through another month or two!
Gas sniffer has gone back up to the office, as it was out of date, there was no reason for it to be onboard. If you have an issue with this then speak to Jake, I left the sniffer at the office after our OVID audit.
Max passenger numbers are still 92.
Same ol with the mains, used 45ltrs of coolant in 3 weeks in stbd main, port still chewing up the oil!
AMSA doing checks on passenger embarking/disembarking procedures, check email.
