Lifejacket lights replaced as follows
I have also updated yearly maintenance checks even though they weren't due as it reflects current status
There are 405 coastal lifejackets onboard All lifejacket lights have been replaced with new ones 17/5/21 Please note that 400 lifejacket lights are due to expire November 2026 3 x lifejacket lights due to expire December 2024 These lights that are due in 2024 are located lower deck aft row Stbd outer passenger seats 2 x lifejacket lights are due in December 2025 these are in the wheelhouse under the master lounge Liferafts are currently in process of servicing with the port 130 pax liferaft swapped out 17/5/21 for servicing, the first of 4.
Please check with GPC Marina office if you are requested to go to Service Wharf for liferaft changeovers that wharf has been booked
Please converse with Brodie as he is taking care of the 5 x hydrostatic release units that are due to expire in June 2021. 4 for the Liferafts and 1 for the Carly float
The stainless steel pelican clips I have requested to be replaced as well x 5 as the port one broke free when we released it for servicing.... Brodie is also looking after this, please converse with Brodie
charts updated to NTM 423
stores order submitted 17/5/21 including new fuel line and primer for tender as it is perished and weathered
Next time rescue boat is launched the sheaves for the winch rope aren't turning and will need to be serviced when load is off them
Magnetic Compass deviation is in excess of 8 degrees on some headings and doesn't reflectwhich suggests to me that a licensed compass adjuster should attend the vessel and create a new deviation card that is within 5 degrees deviation
Reminder to start aft engines first to avoid battery alarm
