(Still leaking from injector which is causing the majority of the mess, MRF is open)
* fire heat detector stbd engine room fwd has had housing replaced after it come loose
* gas detector out of date, have been instructed to borrow one off Parangool or another vessel when required as the detector on this boat won’t be serviced for 6 months

* both main engines consuming coolant and engine oil and oil spill pads, Genset has oil leak which is not changing level on dipstick too dramatically
* engine start battery bank indicators suggest batteries are on the way out as the green eye looks a bit sad, we are getting a new start bank in 8 weeks time

* check out submitted MRF register , there have been a few submitted, of note port boarding camera u/s , have closed out MRFs that action was required by ships representative where applicable
* Jennifer Deleon-Lloyd approved for master / engineer training on BK commencing 8/5/21
Signed off on 10/5/21. Brad McKnight onboard for training 2/5/21 + 3/5/21 deck, eng + master all completed, also Luis Alvarez signed off as GPH 3/5/21
* Both logbooks are fresh so old ones are in the box in the roof if you need to reference anything
* The first time I pumped sullage it took 40 mins to discharge 650 lts , I was told this is the normal for this boat which left me puzzled, so the next time I pumped sullage I operated the port toilet flush continuously whilst sullage was discharging and managed to discharge 1300+ lts in 18 minutes. I believe the Venturi created when flushing has enabled the system to breathe better whilst discharging
* Volume on safety DVD to be addressed in toolbox discussion 14/5/21 and checked before daily operations as per email sent 13/5/21
* Any relevant emails have been flagged
* Handover report submitted a few days before swing change as I have gone over to Spirit for last few days of swing
Bye for now
