<p>Handover notes : Ritchie is Canaipa's shore base fitter.</p> <p>Stb main heat alarm: power up slowly on main engines as the Stb temp will spike and set off alarm Ritchie is aware of problem and is looking into it. </p> <p>Port gear box clunks into gear a lot harder then Stb maintenance have checked solenoids and no fix so they are sending of a oil sample to be tested. </p> <p>Port & Stb fuel tanks and filters have had growth in tanks and filters have changed out diesel filters and put additive in tanks to treat. Keep an eye on the filters as they are likely to block up quickly. There are spare filters in storage cupboard. </p> <p>Genset has cut out a couple of times in rough weather it comes up with low oil pressure but oil level is fine. Just isolate Genset and turn back on to reset and it will start up again. Maintenance have changed oil sender but it has still done it. The Genset has also had new gauges in it to get Genset engineers running log readout. </p> <p>Sullage : if operating in rough conditions keep the sullage level low or you will get the smell of sullage come from the toilet and it rises up to the wheelhouse. </p> <p>Has main steering system fail when turning to Stb it would only turn when it fult like it. Maintenance and electitions have looked at system and couldn't find any faults. Steering has played up since aux steering system works fine. </p> <p>Have made up more lines for Canaipa so there is now one on forward and aft decks and one port and Stb side near doorways. </p> <p>STORES ORDERS: </p> <p>we are still awaiting on :1 fender / bravo flag / rectangle backer / disinfectant </p> <p> </p>
