Hi Nathan and Jodie,
I hope you've all had a good swing off.
The boat is running as good as Parangool does.
The port engine is still using a fair bit of water and definitely needs to be checked at the start of each shift, its probably no worse than when you were last here though. It's also still leaking oil.
the starboard engine is using a few litres of coolant every couple of days and also leaking oil.
I have changed the soaker pads out on Tuesday 2/02 and have ordered more as there's none left.
Last weeks stores didn't arrive, so hopefully this week they will be there
The Genset is still dropping out occasionally and saying it's due to low oil pressure. Nathan Raphael was on here through the swing and suggested that on start up if you look at the oil pressure on the digital read out and it looks low, shut it off and restart it and the pressure should look normal.. I tried that and it did seem to work! But of course, I'm sure both of you are more aware of it and how to rectify the problems than I am.
The fuel gauges seem to be working fine now.
the face mask rule that was in on your last swing has been relaxed now.
that's about all from me, but I'll get Luke to add to this if he thinks of anything. If either of you have any issues and need to call, feel free. 0414676135
Have a good swing,
Steve
Gidday guys and gals,
have done these last few nights as well as a few at the beginning of swing. Generator return fuel line replaced Tuesday 2nd after springing a leak. pits only low pressure, but squirted significantly from a pin prick size hole.
safety video is on mini-USB. No need to remove.
Jets: an alarm - J1 code - sounded this morning for one second on departure Marina. Again at GL3. Jets working fine. Same thing occurred for Steve last night. All fluid levels OK. Raised MRF.
Have a good swing and don't hesitate to call if you need a sicky: 0456 174 938
