<p>Hi Annemaree,</p> <p>> New engines !! They are all running sweetly.<br /> > The only issue is the vibration at idle due to the engine harmonics, engineers are going to up the rpm on fwd mains which should get rid of the problem. They are waiting on the repair of their computer for this to be done, I have emailed my concerns re waiting......it should just be done by Scania......vibration has already caused the port aft fire damper Morse pin to vibrate loose and shut the damper. You can read the email in the out box on this iPad.</p> <p>> You will find the new engines take just a fraction longer to kick over when starting.</p> <p>> Also the flow meters are going off at random, we have been advised to leave them switched off.......my concern for this is also expressed in the email and there is a MRF in.</p> <p>> Working at height harnesses are off for service, they were given to Willie on Friday 6 th.</p> <p>> Have made a couple of new lines @ GL3 berth, spare rope has been ordered</p> <p>> There is a new iPad charger & lead ,old one went missing while getting engines done. Will need to be test & tagged next time round ?</p> <p>> Waiting on paperwork for the service of the gas sniffer which was done on the 22nd October. Also waiting on the fire Detection system report from when they were serviced....all other fire system paperwork is up to date and in the SMS.</p> <p>>Unirail system and anchor points are due for service.
