On about the 1/11 of November (before the start of my swing), the sniffer went up to the office (to be checked) together with the first aid kit. First Aid Kit back on board but the sniffer is nowhere to be found. Have checked with the office a few times and still not found.
On the afternoon run with a full boat load of passengers, the port main engine is raching 87C.
On the 5/11 Shaun replaced the fuse holder for the genset fan and got the fan going again. Also on the same day he fitted a brand new DVD player. To go from radio to safety video press source (SRC) once, wait about 10 to 15 seconds then press play. after about 2 mins and 45 seconds press source 3 times to go back to radio.
On the 7/11 the strainer for the genset was cleaned (Richard) out because of a restricted water flow.
on 10/11 inserted a new Data SIM into the Internet Dongle. A new SIM was provided for the boat phone but the SIM did not validate. Returned new boat phone SIM and old boat Internet SIM to the office on 20/11.
On the 11/11 used 'Shiners' on the stbd sponson.
On the 12/11 Shaun on board to change the genset filters, cleaned genset air filter, cleaned genset heat exchanger, fit breather pipe to port main engine, re-wired & fitted a waterproof plug for the stbd engine compartment bilge alarm float switch and cleaned the genset sea strainer. Sea trials and all ok.
17/11 Sent Jake the model of chart plotter and C-Map code on SD card as he intends to update the C-Map electronic charts. (Chart plotter is a Simrad NX45 NavStation and C-Map code is M-AU-M005.30 W and the date is 14-Dec-14.
On 18/12 we removed the Transit Systems outside, port & stbd, fore and aft. Still Transit Systems displayed inside on at least 4 emergency procedure signs and 2 welcome aboard signs. Soaker pads replaced under Genset and main engines.
On 19/12 Shaun on board & changed the oil & filter to the GenSet (250 hr service). He also cleaned the strainer for the genset. Still no 'sniffer' on board. He checked CCTV. Removed After Cooler from port main engine to repair Boost leak. Fitted with new gaskets. On stbd main engine, he fitted a new Boost Outlet hose as the old one had an air leak. As a result Boost Pressure on both main engines has increased from 1.7 to 1.8 bar.
'No Footwear Please' signs (stickers) attached, one on either side forward of front of the seats under the window.
On 20/11 scrubbed wheel house floor. Wiped down aft deck walls and bleached the toilet walls.
On 23/11 polished the stainless steel hand rails on fore deck and aft deck. Mr. Sheen application to all the interior blue seats.
On 25/10 noticed that the yellow torch under port wheelhouse console has a flat battery. Shaun was going to replace a worn hose on stbd main engine for boost pressure but didn't make it back to the boat today.
