Had to reorder stores as Willie rejected Dan’s order because he didn’t use the drop down box to order Blue Rag on a Roll.
Brody on board to repair steering wheel and Requested that “we” refrain from spinning the helm chair all the way around as that is what is damaging the helm wheel. Of course that’s not any of “us”! Lol (casuals) hahaha.
19/4 Sunday
Complete Weekly and Monthly maintenance checks, Vessel safety self assessment audit and update vessel certificate register. During Monthly’s Stb aft Fire flap failed to activate.MRF’ed.
Requested professional upholstery clean for all seats.MRF’ed.
MRF’ed House radio mic. Requested new mic. Have lecki taped it for now.
Requested new hatch seal for fwd deck Stb side. MRF’ed. This was rejected as Jodie already MRF’ed in March.

Saun on board to repair Stb fire flap and Port Life jacket bag. Tested Fire flap all good.
24/4/20 Friday
Commenced working on Temperary Notice to Mariners with guidance from Willie and Graeme. (I wasn’t quite sure how to do it so I asked for help)
Mains, Gearboxes and Genset Serviced.
Replaced lettering on Wheelhouse life ring and replaced ring in bracket with the lettering facing the wall in hope of preserving.

Stuck J1 Alarm sounding frequently.
26/4 Sunday
RPMFB E1 Alarm on Prestart.
Saun on board to investigate jet alarms as above. Changed jet oil and inspected jet unit Port side. Reported no anomalys.
27/4 Monday
RPMFB E1 Alarm sounded upon steering checks. MRF 5688 as requested by Saun.
Requested professional clean of air cons. MRF 5687
Completed all temporary chart corrections as per NTM. Made a few mistakes entering these into chart corrections register but they’re all in there in some form.
28/4 Tuesday
RPMFB E1 Alarm sounded again on start up.
Upon our first running log the Stb main oil pressure was down 1 bar @2100 rpm. MRF 5693 also spoke to Saun and Brody prior to leaving for break.
Vessel to Slipway for seat clean.
Stb engine low oil pressure Alarm sounded for Wolffy near midnight.
29/4 Wednesday
Brody on board shortly after midnight to investigate oil pressure issue. Has been put down to a faulty sensor.
stb TV not working MRF’ed.
30/4 Thursday
Genset broke down at some point during the night and we ran all day without it. It was removed in the am and replaced in the pm. As a result the fridge was defrosted and cleaned.

Still no Genset on arrival for shift.
RPMFB E1 Alarm sounded again just after Pre start steering checks.
On returning from break the Genset is operational again. 👏🏻👏🏻👏🏻
Have requested SDS sheets (by email to Anne) for the new products Glitz mould killer and Oomph stain remover.
Stb oil pressure was back up during afternoon runs from around 1530 onwards.

RPMFB E2 has sounded directly after pre start steering checks. Was previously E1. MRF’ed.
The Stb oil pressure reading is down again by 1Bar.
Stb main has raw water (I think) leak from somewhere under the turbo. Not from the flange that Dan tightened up last swing, that is fine. I’ve taken some pictures for reference and MRF’ed.
Latest Chart Corrections as issued by Willie completed and recorded in DataWeb.

Requested Test n tag on cordless vacuum by MRF.
Rang Maintenance on call (Tim) asked him to have a look at the Genset as it smelt burnt? Have been told that he came and had a look while we were on break. Heard nothing more.
Weekly’s and replace dirty soaker pads in both mains, jet unit and Genset. The soaker pads from under the Stb main where heavily salt encrusted.
cleaned off as best I could the salt crust from Stb main block under raw water leak. Will monitor and have photos on iPad to reference.

Genset burnt out during the night for Wolffy. No Genset. Wolffy spoke to Gene. Ran with No Genset for morning runs.
On Prestart checks, I Inspected the Stb block around the area where there was a suspected raw water leak and found No additional salt crust or any sign of leaks. Must have been from the leak that Dan tightened up last swing. I have requested that the MRF be canceled by email to Gene. MRF has been closed out.
Maint on board to inspect Genset.
Torresian to Service Wharf for the afternoon. Genset fixed, again! Lol
GENERAL COMMENTS- There is a new portable vacuum on the bottom shelf of the stores rack. It doesn’t have a wall bracket. The other one died. ⚰️
Ordered a new Deckie’s stool 15/4 Not supplied (maybe because I ordered a ‘Duckie stool’ in stead of a ‘Deckie stool’ lol), also a new tool kit with that order also not supplied. Ordered a wet vac and 5 pkts of paper hand towel 26/4 not supplied. Have reordered hand towel 4/5.
We had our first day of fog for the season earlier in the swing. Luckily I had made tracks for myself just a day or two prior. These tracks can easily be hidden if you don’t want to see them but please do not delete as I will need them if we get fog on the next swing. 🙏.
The non slip tread on the pontoon at GL3 has just started lifting in front of the ramp creating a trip hazard for departing pax. MRF’ed as requested by Willie.
Have ordered the Blue rag on a roll as Dan had also done prior to him swinging out but none has been supplied. Anne has supplied two rolls of paper towel in it’s place so I’ve not been using the blue stuff where possible.
No oil has been added to mains since the service 24/4.
Vessel vac’ed and mopped inside and truck washed outside. (Very little time for much else).
Have Requested a sticky label for Truck Wash container via SRF. 4/5/20.
Gas detector was serviced.
Relevant emails flagged.
Last finished Ships Log is up in the aft roof compartment.
