<p>Hi,</p> <p>* The Port E/R fire alarm sensor is activating underway and needs to isolated and inspected to ensure that ther is no fire. Maintenance have organized to replace sensor. Please see engineering notes on back page of 29/03/20 ships log.</p> <p>* Sullage tank flushed with fresh water on 31/03/20 as there was an awful smell coming up when toilet was flushed due to vessel being on slip and unused for so long. Fresh water added through hand wash sink to bring sullage up to 50% and sullage emptied.</p> <p>* 6kg of oily rags removed from both main engine rooms on 29/03/20. Cleaned up as best I could, ordered bag of rags and more soaker pads. Fresh pads added to both engine rooms.</p> <p>* sorry ran out of time to do self audit check list as I have only had this vessel for 3 nights. Might pay to check all documents.</p> <p>* there is an open confined space under Aarons name which he has attempted to close. There has been 97 email notification in last 2 days which I have deleted. Aaron will see office on Wednesday morning to rectify.</p> <p>* please see flagged emails.</p> <p>* there was an email asking for all paper charts to be updated with corrections and corrections to be added to DataWeb. I have done so onboard Torresian as I was on dutie onboard Torresian. I also asked Willie if he could get Parangool charts to me from the slipway but he said that this could be addressed when Parangool came back on line. I have had B. Martin to induct in the last couple of nights and additional runs, so the paper charts still need to be checked as per email 11th March.</p> <p>* SDS folder needs to be updated. Again this was a job for all vessels while Parangool was on the slipway and I requested folder to be left at office so I could address this while onboard Torresian but was told that this could wait until Parangool came back on line.</p> <p>Have a good swing and stay safe.</p> <p>Thanks</p> <p>Jodie</p>
