Hi Oliver,
boat is running ok.
We had issues with CCTV camera, they took the DVR out and put a spare one in, this is working alright but is slightly different from the old one. The password for it is 000000, PT and STBD docking stations password is still 1234. With right click of the mouse you get the menu to check the recording in the morning checks and also the logout option. It has a few problems, and they ordered a new unit to be put in, so this is just for the time being.
When raining heavily there is a water leak in the main port aft cabin(panels 4-5-6 on the roof counting from the PT midship tv). Richard should be onboard today to try and fix it. See how it goes with the next rain.
Water leak also under the dashboard Pt and STBD wipers, MRF is in for that too. Water buckets under it are to catch the water.
We take engine hrs from the digital Scania screen as the analog ones played up a few times.
Control failure alarms on PT fwd main and STBD aft were coming up randomly when starting the mains, just press reset and then reconnect, the alarm usually goes off twice before the reconnect light comes up and once you press that they come good again. Richard has changed the Power Conditioners yesterday afternoon on the STBD side and should be changing PT side today.
Zip water heater is broken, MRF is in.
Paper charts corrections are all up to date.
PT side jet room hatch doesn't seal well, ABA in Brisbane tried to fixed it during last out of water survey but didn't work, you'll always get some water in there from rain and washdowns. We usually vacuum that out once a week.
Strobe lights in the engine rooms have been changed, now working fine with fire alarms test. Waiting on engineer to close MRF down.
All office employees emails have been changed with sealink taking over. I've saved Dave and Luke's new emails addresses into the contacts. That's the only ones we have so far.
Ferries have priority over Bruce crew transfers, Dave called me up yesterday saying we don't have to slow down for them and they should wait to pull alongside if our wake is an issue.
As for the morning runs, me and Ian have swapped around the 0605 and 0630 runs as that gives the boat at FLNE a bit more time to clean or do jobs before their break. Dave is ok with that.
Have a good swing,
Alessia.
