<p>Welcome back onboard, hope the ride went well... you fellas looked like you all had a good tour over there... im not sure what’s really gone on here prior to my arrival as Ross had to take off early and I’ve only been on for 3 days but will do my best.</p> <ul> <li>Your Anchor chain has been replaced</li> <li>Oxley is still in its usual spot, at its usual times of around 0630 to 1630 with the no wash</li> <li>Aft deck clears and rear mesh were removed, apparently they are replacing the rear section, have not been informed as to when it is expected back, today on break they installed the stb side clear panel.</li> <li>VB cord on the Portside roof safety rail has been replaced by Glen</li> <li>Seats have been professionally cleaned</li> <li>Received email from Willie 5/9 regarding service wharf bookings as sealink vessels have not been booking bunkering time slots with marina office.</li> </ul> <p style="text-align: center;"><em>To mitigate any confusion or misunderstandings please log in the ships log the following points below.</em></p> <ol> <li><em>Date & Time of booking.</em></li> <li><em>Name of GPC personnel confirming the booking.</em></li> </ol> <p><em>After making the booking please email the above information through to me [ or Rob if I am away] and we will send on an email to reiterate the confirmation with marina office.</em></p> <ul> <li>James Grant is doing Bruce transfers 7 days a week so as per schedule torresian has the 0700 run</li> <li>Previous to my arrival on friday i was informed of an issue that occurred with the vessels auto pilot, apparently it was engaged while berthing at GL4, by tapping the autopilot panel on the plotter screen. Shaun and Gav have been onboard to investigate, I have been told that Gav has disengaged the auto pilot to prevent another occurrence. I have however removed the auto pilot panel from the left side of the plotter screen as I could not get a confirmation on what exactly he did.</li> <li>We had a hose clamp failure on the starboard exhaust at the Flexi joint... It caused a salt water leak into engine room. Went back to slipway and removed the water then fresh water rinsed the area. Also treated the space to a generous dose of lanolin spray and another fresh water rinse on Tuesday while replacing soaker pads. All transfer of waste water have been logged in the oil record book and incident report lodged on dataweb. Most excess lanolin has been wiped up but you may find the floor to be a little slippery in places and some leakage onto the new soaker pads under the sump.</li> </ul> <p>Thats all i really can pass on, glenno kind of walked me through the last few days as i have not been onboard torresian for a long time and am unsure of the processes but i will probably touch base with you tomorrow if you have any questions.</p>
