<p>13/3 electrical contractor onboard, 240v panel... wiring scorched and beginning to weld together, aircons are not to be run on shorepower until further notice. Air ons to be shut down before use of kettle/microwave etc.</p> <p>18/3. Weekly and 2 weekly completed, slipway for genset 250 & 500 hr service, rudder bearings greased, cctv ckd, emergency radio batteries, fire suppression and low voltage system. Starboard life raft cradle fitted.</p> <p>18/3. Discharge from genset exhaust, vessel shutdown and Torresian utilised. Stuck injector, leaking fuel.</p> <p>19/3. Brody onboard, replaced injectors with 2nd hand injectors (cracked and tested). New ones on order, genset operational. Mrf back deck, several cracks allowing water into tiller flats, setting off stb bilge alarm. G Austin onboard re compliance drills, our AIS is to be used for each run... pax numbers, destinations etc as per standing orders.</p> <p>20/3 srf, fender for berth, new line for bow Gl3 and stern marina. New line fitted Gl3 long spring for contingency in adverse conditions. Genset cutting out, checked strainer for debris ... some, temp only went to 91. A/c was only on 24 so shouldn’t have been too much load. Brodie came onboard ... hertz dropping to 45hz, will auto cut out. Governor not picking up extra revs, has not happened again.</p> <p>21/3 fire hoses checked as per fire plan, 12m in port side and 18m in stb.</p> <p>22/3 mrf s re dry chem and foam extinguisher in port engine room, Willie and Graeme onboard checking out the possibility to move them to more appropriate/accessible locations</p> <p>25/3 mrf sent re genset exhaust residue, still occurring with used replacement injectors. Weekly and 3 monthly maintenance checks completed. Removing barnacles from mains sea chests ... is a work in progress. Trying to get as many from the intake as possible.</p> <p>26/3. Slipway maintenance, new injectors in genset, replace genset start battery. Port and stud mains impeller replacement/750hrs. 250hr service port and stud mains.</p> <p>27/3. Incident report lodged, stud aft bits damaged against Bruce sponson.</p> <p>31/3. Weekly and 2 weekly maintenance checks completed, mrf 4800 ... genset oil leak getting worse.</p> <p>1/4. Genset 250hr service ... oil, filters,impeller. Temps are reading 86 - 88, Brodie says sensor connection giving different readings.</p>
