<p><br /> Be sure to keep a check on sump bolts.... Missing 2 on stb and 1 on port and most were loose, had oil exiting the sump and hitting the inboard side of engine room on stb room. Oil level was noticeably reduced within a 24hr period. Re tensioned bolts but still showing signs of oil residue on block and on surrounding soaker pads.</p> <p>Genset vent fan played up, pulled connectors apart and cleaned them, working again but do keep an eye on em.<br /> Genset serviced by Shaun 23/9<br /> New DVD is Onboard, have had the current one slip a few times, not enough to warrant a swap out yet. (DVD swapped out 3/10)<br /> Generator frequency fault on Genset. Ran all day fine then on 1115 run it have up halfway across, idle slowed frequency dropped and shutdown occurred. Suspect fuel/air issue but Shaun is getting onto it and MRF is lodged.<br /> Genset serviced by Shaun 06/10, found fuel filter was loose causing air leak and the issue of Genset shutting down, also cleaned the sea strainer.<br /> APLNG ERT replaced pads in vessels AED<br /> Shaun would like to replace 2 rocker covers at some time this swing, he is trying organise it through management.<br /> (Port #6 rocker cover is leaking 6/10)<br /> Careful if climbing under the dash, found stb fire alarm to eng room had been pulled out</p> <p> </p>
