G’day Ross and Tara,
I trust you’re keeping well and are rested after you offswing.
A fairly routine swing had by us - a few things of note:
1. All the usual jobs have been done (floor scrub, scrub downs, machinery spaces, handover clean etc.) throughout the swing and over the past two days. Please let me know of any issues. There may be a cup of water or so in each engine room from checking the main engine anodes, I sucked it dry but no doubt some will work its way down to the pump area...
2. All machinery serviced very recently with records in the Engineers Log for you to review. Nil issues, all is running 100%.
3. New logs available as old ones full.
4. Conducted a Client drill, received positive feedback.
5. New crew PFDs.
6. NTM 312 (T) needs to be read and understood.
7. No urgent stores or ESRs.
8. Requested some paint for the roof and roller to paint over patches of exposed epoxy. May arrive in your hands.
9. Take a look at the galvanised screws holding the air conditioner condenser box covers in place. Some corrosion beginning to show which will make holes leading to more damage. Would be interested to know your thoughts about replacing them with stainless and nylon washers or Duralac. Please let me know or feel free to take it on as a little project.
10. See flagged emails, a bit to read through to bring you up to date.
I will try and make it down for a coffee one morning.
Safe swing and kind regards,
Tony Constance.
