G day..
Week 1 - maintenance day , striker plate on stb gate fixed , injectors in genset replaced, oil leak on port side trans cooler repaired.
Week 2 - Genset 250hr service and tested battery, port and stbd main engines 250hr and 1000hr services, port and stbd gearboxes 500hr service, changed port & Stb jet bearing oil and grease drive shaft.
Week 3 - bow rail welded up and extra bracing welded in to stop vibrating and causing more cracking. Replaced leaking water pump on genset again. All void inspections completed.
Front life ring light exspires this month . New one ordered on the supplies.
Crew life jackets are due for testing in August.
We minimised truck wash on stbd side windows like we where asked . As you can see when you swing on we have been truck washing port side and there is a great deal of difference between port and stbd side. the water sticks to the stbd side and is getting a scale build up already. Im not sure rain x is the best thing to use . Also all the windows have pretty bad scratch marks on the stbd side from the hound dog be careful using it .
Stbd side exuast broke in the engine room where it goes up threw the floor . Its fixed now but just keep an eye on port side the piping was pretty thin.
Have put in mrf for port side exhaust leak, same spot were stb side broke off.
