<p>Changes to trip log see email from Jake 14/7.</p> <p>New Support vessel hand book needs signing. I have tabbed the relevant sections so as to avoid new crew from just skimming the book and not really taking it in. Email from Willie and Jake 19&20/7.</p> <p>2nd vhf set has been programmed so as we have channels 13, 16 and 74 on scan, with 15 transmissions interfering with this radio. I have now removed the AF level adjustment option on this vhf start up, no longer will that annoying noise bother you when turning the unit on...So now 2nd vhf set can remain on to montior these channels and when needing to transmit on 15 simply switch off the radio supply selector on the dash, make call on 15 then switch the selector back on.</p> <p>As per the support vessel handbook we are required to monitor ch 74 at all times when on site, security have attempted to call on 74 during drills and the support vessel has never responded.</p> <p>Their has been clarification from Willie on board 26/6/18 in regards to signing off the Addendums in the SMS. I have made notes on the plastic sleeves of the relevant forms and hope it is clear.</p> <p>After pulling the shore power lead from the vessel at CP3 (deckie forgot to take it off) we now have, through consultations with Willie (ie Receiving a matching pair of pineapples) established that the shore power lead should be placed over the aft spring in order to prevent any future repeat. Ken from CoP has kindly supplied the bright orange hook thingy for our convenience. Hook it onto the aft spring line.</p> <p>Local NTM have been updated on the ipad albums, notice 479/2018 deleted special mark on chart 244, 245 completed</p> <p>Electrical inspection has been completed..Rosco has been informed and aware of the fire fighting equipment 6mth checks due 20/7, electrical test n tag completed too.</p> <p>Certificate register has been updated </p> <p>Pfd checks due 8/8 notify office before swing off to arrange replacement please</p> <p>Remember to continue ordering the fuel treatment, sepas have recently been changed and fuel polish completed on both tanks but bug still present. So each week should be ordering treatment with stores until a good and proper tank and line clean can be done......</p> <p>New log book and trip log procedures 24hrs per page see flagged email from Willie Friday.</p> <p>Drill & incident reporting email from Willie Friday.</p> <p>Have fun 😄</p>
