*12/1 have moved the aft fender forward to next position, fender still absorbes vessel but be aware that if the stern swings in fast the port quater can hit the hard rubber fender with the sponson. In its normal position it was becoming difficult to remove sternline when loaded 140pax.

Cindy is continuously requesting confirmation of information and has asked that i remind all skippers on here that, when no pax are carried please write the 0, and also write in the notes section that there was no pax. Any adhoc runs or alterations to scheduled departures, trips that take longer then the alotted times or anything that differs from our usual routine MUST have an explanation in the notes section. Any extra runs MUST have the person who has authorised that run.. fuel, weather, sullage, garbage and water, all boxes must be filled out......
Have been instructed by UGL electricians to ensure shore power is turned off at the pole before connecting and disconnecting from boat at all times. Following the recent ovid audit it has been found that drills are not being recorded as being completed in the logbook. They are being noted in the dataweb but it is still a requirement for this information to be presented in the logbook. This audit was conducted onboard canaipa not BK but we need to make sure that we are doing this too if we are not already. Dates on dataweb need to match up with logs as the auditor checks this. Also each month we should be completing compass error checks and logging these into ships logbook.
0530 run, have not been waiting for pax that arrive late. Unless the operations guys bus has not arrived. They have all been told if driving in and they have not arrived / passed through the turnstile by 0528 they will miss the 1st ferry. Canaipa will be there to take any late arrivals.
Port main temps still creeping up at higher rpm.. will sit a few degrees above stb when running normal but even if revs are taken to 2100 then slowly it will begin climbing. Perhaps in need of barny buster....
