Volume of diesel and all bunkering information needs to be put on the logbook page that reflects the correct date, eg. N/s 28/8 fueling up at end of shift which is actually the 29/8. Auditor wants us to write the bunkering info down on the following days logbook............ To reflect the correct dates on log, printed receipt and fuel log. Directive has not come from management yet, so I've still been writing the data into my page but dating the refueling to the corrected date.
All masters need to follow the correct instructions when completing the fuel record book. Follow the layout that is in the book and we will all be doing the right thing. Included in this is the correct code for disposing of oily waste water (D) as well as the accompanying sub categories.

As you may be aware, there is a fresh water leak that is filling port void #3 We are loosing fresh at a high rate.. The pipe work running under the deck to each of the toilets and sinks is showing signs of leakage, MRF is lodged and I have emailed Ross and voiced concern as this was an issue pointed out durning the Ovid audit.
If you notice salt build up in the engine rooms, please find the leak or cause and ensure bilge is rinsed when leak has been repaired. It's taken us a while to get these engine rooms to the state they are in now so any help from you guys is appreciated.
