<p>Service on mains and Genset 14/8/17. </p> <p>Low oil pressure on Genset through first half of swing, safety cut out a few times, oil pressure gauge put on Genset and results revealed that it is electrical and not actually low oil pressure.... In saying that the pressure has stayed consistent 2.6-2.8 since the service and new oil etc.. The gauge is still attached to the oil sensor, best to leave it attached for Sean to get or oil will go everywhere! </p> <p>port aft void in saloon still getting water in it, still not 100% sure where it's coming from.</p> <p>aft fire flaps were getting stuck (both flaps port and stbd in stacks). They had a notch worn into the metal lever from vibrating in the same spot for a long time and they were jamming on that. We filed them back, lubed and got working but worth checking again to make sure they close from emergency panel levers. </p> <p>FLNE security cards, you guys will have to do an induction to recieve your new FLNE security cards for the boom gate in case we ever have to drive to FLNE, takes about 2 minutes and you can do it at the security hut at FLNE or at the office.</p> <p>important emails flagged.</p> <p>Luke there is an email about the incident of 'spills' at FLNE, they are chasing it up but nothing has come of it, email is flagged.</p> <p>first aid kit is past inspection date, Jake knows about it and a new kit will be supplied next week, apparently our one is good until the end of the month. </p> <p>Shore power tripped again at cp3, no rhyme or reason, sparkies on the island flicked the breaker back on and it has been good since.. Just the same cp3 gremlin I guess!!</p> <p>shut down will be on for at least the next 8 days as far as I know, for the 0530 security have got the authority to tell us when to go, they have been sending Mandurama off about 7-8 mins early because they are slower than us, trying to get us to leave on time but haven't yet! Lots of delays with the influx of new people. For the 0630 with caniapa we have been cutting off at 90 and caniapa gets about 90 also, we wait until about 0625 so that both ferries arrive around the same time at cp1</p> <p>charts updated to edition 16.</p> <p> </p>
