Had 80lts of water in the stb England room, leaks found in both Gilkes seawater pumps on the main engines. Stb was replaced but seals no good and this was causing salt water leak in the engine room under revs.
First aid kit is due to be checked on 12/8
New process for ad hoc ferry services, written procedure in place for requesting additional services. Email flagged and laminated procedure in stb document holder of the wheelhouse. When Extra runs are completed, please email Cindy and inform her of the extra, the authoriser name, and run details. This will help when it comes to entering runs into the system.
APLNG cutting has been narrowed and cp2 / cp4 have been removed, in place there has been 2 virtual markers inserted. See NTM 292 of 2017, paper chart is waiting to be updated (waiting on tracings)
All voids have now been cleaned, please try and keep on top of the salt build up when cleaning the Genset strainer.

vessel undertaking maintenance 26/7 to action any leaks from the mains and steering arms. Also no workplace bullying and harassment policy found on vessel or Dataweb, and all our MSDS sheets are out of date (+5yrs old) and have currently requested an update (21/7)***msds updated 24/7

I have had the shore power lead repaired and test n tag completed. Spare lead that was used while repairs undertaken is stowed in port fwd void ( collision bulkhead) can you guys please get Torresian crew to return this lead to the yard when they take the vessel to slipway on Wednesday.
Take note of the current MRFs that have been submitted before lodging any more as Shaun has lodged a few in this last week .
It has been observed and reported that the FLNE berth is very dark at night and has been agreed upon that crew are to take extra care utilising the vessels fwd lights and or spotlight if lighting is deemed insufficient. Lights in the FLNE car park will be out for approx 3mths while car park works are underway. Lighting towers were discussed but agreed not necessary given masters take care and use vessels lights if required.
As per email from Krystal, brahminy kite will be heading down to the slipway Wednesday 2/8. Crew are to complete 0530 and 0630 runs then swap out with Torresian crew, Torresian will stay up here at APLNG while BK is taken back by Wolfie. Remember to keep the BK boat phone with you when taking over Torresian.....
Removed old Hyspin oil as it was contaminated, cleaned container and acquired new iOS 46 oil with accompanying msds
Hydraulic ram leaks on both jet units are in process of being actioned, awaiting units to be rotated out when new ram arrives, also the hydraulic tanks need new seals. Shaun is onto it and will be lodging a few MRFs following up MRF # 3366
Monitor stb Gilkes raw water pump, pump was leaking salt water, seems to have sealed now and I have cleaned any salt from around that area so should be easy to see at prestart if leaking is occurring .
