We've changed around boats a few times this swing, it was due to the slipping of Surfer to replace the bearing and seal between shaft and jet unit on the port outboard motor, that is all now ok.
One half of the collar that the graphite through bulkhead seal seats on, came off the outboard port shaft, it has been epoxyed back on and is all ok.
The collar that came off the stb outboard shaft about 12 months ago has also been epoxyed back on.
Craig Gibson our vessel engineer has left. The subcontractor Richard is this vessels shore based engineer now , and can be contacted through Luke.
Quite a lot of changes to the SMS , sections 2,6,7 have all been replaced. There are significant changes to the startup procedures and all the drills. Management will be doing audits to make sure we are all following it . See flagged email.
