23/4 Conoco requested transport of cargo required for repairs to gas leak. BK picked up item from FLNE and when asked if item was a hazardous substance the supervisor said no. We were told it would be a 15kg bucket a box and some paperwork. We arrived to find a 50kg bucket of glue and lagging. Upon reading the paperwork it was found to be a hazardous substance. So everyone is aware, the mipec vessel curlew is on standby for the carriage of these items as we can not transport them. This occurred on a Sunday and therefore there was no barge to APLNG. If your asked to transport such items just remember that
1. We are not allowed to carry items to the vessel so they will need to send personell to handle such items. 2. All hazardous goods must be transported on the barge Kaleen or if that vessel is not available then curlew is on standby, not brahminy kite.

All crew checks are up to date, despite excel spreadsheet stating otherwise (5/5) reviewing the registers of the outstanding checks that have not been updated you will see they have been completed a few days prior of the required dates.
6/5 fuel gauges may have been fixed, may need recalibration after a full refuel.. have removed sender units from the tank, draining them and re inserted them. Operating by air volume in tube they may leak diesel into the tube overtime and this throws the calibration out.
6/5 port toilet was found to have valve half opened, it now flushes well enough for #2 jobs
7/6 grabbed chart corrections folder from willie took to boat and completed chart corrections also reviewed previous chart corrections made. Please remember to put all the information into Dataweb chart corrections register in the similar format
When doing weeklys please try not to put too much Lanox/inox onto the door hinges and pins . We have gone around and cleaned them all up in the first few days, the lube was dripping of most hinges marking the walls, people's clothes.
New logbooks are under the dash
Keep an eye out on the leak Stb main inlet side of turbo after manifold (and coolant level), stb oil cooler leak and stb steering hydraulic tank leak from drain plug, MRF has been lodged
Ensure deckhand is checking the middle toilet after each run, the toilet has been randomly continuing to flush, MRF has been lodged and am awaiting repairs. With a dodgy sullage gauge you don't want that water overflowing the sullage tank so keep that in mind when filling your fresh water,
First aid kit was due on 7/5 management is aware but have received no further info as to when this will be done, have emailed Jake with no response, spoke to willie no further action.......
Over rev alarm sounded 9/5. Please monitor that.
Fresh water tank has a leak above 75%. Has been 'fixed' but maintainence asks that we keep it to 75% and no more.
