There is a new system for Conico to book additional runs, it comes up on DataWeb now in the weekly schedule page (home) and an email sent directly to vessel, the only people with the Data web code are superintendents or our office, so if a changed or new run comes through then you are right to do it. They can not book a run within 1 hour, so as long as you check the emails regularly then we shouldn't miss any runs. (Email about this flagged)
BK to back up the 35 as it has been filling up. So night shift to back up the 0630 from FLNE run and day shift to back up the 1545 from CP3 run. Check flagged email.
Air cons are still playing up a bit, I think there's not enough airflow for the units on the roof, as Luke has mentioned before, it does seem that" if there's bugger all air flow they stop pumping cold air, but if it's windy or vessel is underway then they seem to be ok.
same oil leaks (weaps) on jet rams, doesn't seem to effect the levels, maintainence know about it.
I had an investigate on the water leak in port side engine room, it drips in through the steering ram when in reverse, obviously splashing up enough in reverse to reach the through hull seal, we had a similar leak on the gool a way back and it could only be fixed by slipping and replacing the seal, once again maintenance know about this and can't really do much about it until she goes up.
There is a running noise, like a high speed tapping if you listen closely to the port engine, Brodie knows about this and is pretty confident it's the belt tensioner and will adjust when he gets the chance.
4x new air curtains.
stbd main and Genset serviced 2/3/17.
NO WASH still in place APLNG CP3... They are very quick to report any sign of a ripple straight to management so be super cautious. I've been slowing down whilst still parallel with the island on the other side of the harbour, a good 300M before turning into the cutting, sitting on 8 knots and then 6 knots when getting closer and they are still having a whinge, I'll refrain from telling you what I think about that barge master... But... Be careful, especially on glassy days, he is a nazi!!!
No wash RG Tanner pretty much every working day, pile driving there, also CP1 at times when they are unloading the barge.
All important emails flagged.
I got in trouble for leaving early when we had a run for the shipping agents. The agents usually get there early and the agents plus security both assured me there was no one else and I was good to go... Little did everyone know Conico had used that trip to get a person out to the island and no one knew!! Moral of the story is, unless a super, or our management say we can leave, we have to leave on the scheduled time.
Extra runs on the 9,11,and the 12th /3/17, check flagged emails.
21-02 1st aid restocked.
New battery strap ordered for Genset battery box.
1 PFD expires March and the other April.
Internet has been dropping out of reception a bit lately, not sure if this is a common thing up here! But I just turn the dongle thing off then on again and it comes good!
The freezer might need a defrost soon... And to whoever left the ice cream in the freezer... Big mistake!! Thanks for that😛
