<p>Hi guys, hope you've had a good swing off. </p> <p>Had a few issues with the Genset not starting early in the swing, Shaun and Brodie replaced the starter motor, that worked for a while then the starter solenoid failed so Shaun has bypassed that and its been fine ever since. They replaced the water cooled exhaust elbow and all services are up to date. We had some big tides and this has meant for a lot of leaves and debris blocking the sea strainer so keep a eye on the temps. Have also removed the outside wall of the housing during the hot weather.</p> <p>Mains are both good. Gearboxes were serviced 6-1-17 & oils and filters changed 10-1-17.</p> <p>I vaccumed both bilges and were clean and dry 23-1-17 but have noticed some water under Stbd mains next day, can't find where its come from.</p> <p>We have reported to Rob and Dave that the paint outside the rear doors is flaking off and will come off in sheets of blasted with the fire hose, they suggested we put a mat over it until they can get it repainted.</p> <p>Shore power lead had plug replaced , broken and full of water.</p> <p>Front access door retainer was re attached, screws broke.</p> <p>Tag-n-test was done,18-1-17</p> <p>Still waiting for the first aid kit to be serviced , was due 21st, emails have been sent to Willie and Dave.</p> <p>There's an email from Jeff Davies regarding "no wash" whilst at GL4 to read.</p> <p>Chart corrections are up to date.</p> <p>SMS has had quite a few updates lately, check them out.</p> <p>GL4 to GL2 run at 1430 rarely been any passengers, but we still have to write it in the daily log book. Just make a note "no pax for run", there's an email about that too.</p> <p>Have a safe swing on!</p> <p>Woody.</p>
