Note to crews, at no time shall any fluids such as coolant or oily waste be left on deck without sufficient bunding Incase of leaks.
When oily waste is collected in spare drums it is important to have these removed as soon as possible. If waste can't be removed immediately we have used the engine room space to stow the containers until they can be removed from the vessel and taken to the slipway for disposal.
Have moved the port bilge float alarm string which was routed through the entry point, must not obstruct the fire flap from proper operation in an emergency
When replacing mooring lines, remember it is now an SMS requirement to incorporate a tag line into the spliced eye to prevent crew pinching hands/fingers
Genset circuit breaker must be turned off when connected to shore power as instructions state on the door to the 240v board, if while connected to shore power the 240v solenoid fails there is a possibility that the pump will turn on and flood the Genset.

Anchor winch is now operational, deck switch had to be replaced
Keep in mind that the winch is pulling to 1 side and may chaff the anchor rope, Jesse is aware of this. Have a current MRF lodged for work needed in the anchor void to prevent rope/chain from fouling.

Both fire pumps replaced, have found multiple holes throughout the hydrant pipe work and are in the process of getting new lines made up. Should be ready for installation on Sunday.
Removed port gearbox oil cooler, found broken bits of an impeller inside. Suspect there could be further bots found in heat exchanger but have not had the opportunity to remove and inspect.

New process has been added to the DataWeb, your required to now check the box to the right of each run to say that you have confirmed that you have checked all lines have been secured before loading/unloading passengers.
