Welcome Back hope you had a good swing off.
Boats been running good no problems.
Maintanence fixed 2 holes in the raw water pipes and fire fighting pipes.
scrubbed out both engine rooms.
we changed the ropes around a bit at gl4 inside berth, fixed head line first, fixed aft spring and a working stern line, seems to be working good. We didn't use the outside bert at all at gl4, even when the low tide was 0.37m there's enough water.
Day crew, we were leaving the marina before 5am and sitting at gl2 for the 0700 run, we used the outside berth at port Central everyday so Canaipa could use the inside berth for there 0540 and 0700 runs.
In the afternoon both jg and Canaipa have 1540 runs off the island, so we used the outside berth at port Central so Canaipa could use the inside and get back to the island for there next run, we used the inside twice because of bad weather sending Canaipa around to c berth.
on the weekend it used to be a 0830 run now it's a 0700, and there's a 1430 back to the island as per timetable, although we haven't had any pax for the 1430.
Boat was sprayed for cockroaches, but there seems to be a few around still.
Gave Christopher b tablet back and using James grant iPad.
put new batteries in light out back for the lifering, still not working might need globe, probably just get new one.
Been getting smashed by wash from our boats, ripped back door off, been welded back on, sent Dave an email, most boats slow down but to late.
Gauges we re calibrated but still not right, haven't notified anyone, been refueling when port gauge reads 300 litres,
haven't been using the cam lock fitting, just the nozzle at pump 4, as soon as in gergals stop, it can only hold another couple of litres. Make sure you book the service wharf, an email came out about it.
pumping sullage at 300 litres, went to 350 one day and it back filled the toilet, around 58 litres on the gauge is empty.
main engines are due for service at the end of the week, Brody is aware.
Myself and Nic were putting one hours work in a day outside of the saloon to maintain the vessel, that's adds up to 42 hours a swing, hope you can see the difference.
cleaned wheelhouse air con, with foam spray to rid the mould.
tidy up the wheelhouse a bit, all the spare radios and head set are in a box stb side under dash.
Had some bad weather and the red life jackets fell down, put one in wheelhouse and 2 in cleaning cupboard.
Havent heard much about the MRF's I fixed the door latch once, didn't last long, back to using string.
mrf put in about broken port side saloon door handle, leave open when loading pax.
emailed jake on Monday about a first aid sign for wheelhouse cupboard, standby.
we took the front port side seat out whilst we were up the creek.
Thats about it, have a good swing, any questions give me a call.
Todd.
