Our ramp from GL2 (for a out going tide) has been borrowed by Canaipa.
Toilet had to have the pump under bowl replace. Richard was onboard on the 24/9/16 to investigate. It was backing up from the first day of this shift. MRF was completed on thursday 21/9/16. It was found that there was blue rag caught up in pump. We were with out a toilet for over a week while the pump was on order. Please ensure that blue rag is NEVER KEEP IN THIS AREA as it could have been a pax that placed the blue rag down there.
Genset has at times had theraw water intake hose collapsing on its self. It has not been spiking in temp and has not shut down at anytime. Brodie is aware of this and has requested time with boat off the run to correct the problem. But please keep a close eye on this.
Brodie conducted 200hr service on genset on the 22/9/16 and 500hr services on Port and Stbd mains on the 22/9/16 @ approx 8205hr.
I emailed Jessie regarding Electrical Inspection due on the 14/9/16. Jessie spoke to me and has said that the inspection was done but he is waiting on the papaerwork. Please chase up and fill in SMS.
Both our PFD are off being serviced. The spares onboard March and Oct 2017.
On fortnightly 3/10/16 checks the air cleaners were in a terrible state. They have been cleaned but please keep on eye on these.
James did my first week and reported that the genset strainer was chuke full of mud.
The office of transport and sercurity are conducting unannounced audits this month. All documentation must be in order.
