Torresian Hand-Over Notes 20th September
Alarm for Stbd Hamilton Jet Blue REF UP STUCK J2 not sounding anymore. Fwd main cabin air con now working. Electrical Survey done by M2i on 9th June 2016 and found in the SMS. No need to contact Jesse as mentioned in previous hand-over notes.
Email on 18th August from Rob Mitchell re: Demobilisation of Torresian on the 26th of September (but apparently extended to the 30th September). Quandamooka finishing on the 17th of September.
Keep checking Christopher B schedule. It likes to sit for extended periods on pontoons that Torresian usually berths.

Shaun on board for sea trials re: Stbd Boost pressure & Stbd jet alarm.
25/8 Thurs.
Shaun & Brody worked on Stbd main engine to try and increase Boost pressure. Fitted new bucket level sensor to Stbd jet, calibration done and operational test performed.
26/8 Fri.
Shaun fitted a new fridge in the wheelhouse. New hose clamps fitted to Stbd main engine turbo pipe.
29/8 Mon.
Brody placed a new W-Fi modern in under the wheelhouse dash. Modem still to be secured. Modern Wi-Fi Network name is: NetComm Password: Tucunogogu

Shaun & Brody on board to do the following; Checked port main engine fuel leak, loose Bolton fuel rail. Tighten bolt and run engine to 1900 RPM, all good. Checked auxiliary engine batteries. Checked port auxiliary engine strainers. Checked port bilge pumps & alarms. Checked Stbd bilge pumps & alarms. Checked Emergency radio bank. Checked CCTV & playback. All cameras operational check. Checked Stbd machinery space. Checked under water valves. Conduct 1 month & 3 month check on port & Stbd jets. Port jet steering cylinder weeping oil. Port & Stbd jet anodes at 80%. Checked watertight doors & hatches.
Important Email from Rob Mitchell re: Close of Business for Bechtel at APLNG takes place on the 31st of October. From the 1st of November ConocoPhillips will have Operational control. Therefore from 1st of November all SeaLink vessels will be Operational vessels.

1/9 Thurs.
Offshore Vessel Inspection Database Surveyor (Mark Taxis) onboard at 10:30 to 12:30 to conduct an operational survey. All SeaLink vessels underwent OVID surveys. Surveyor asked to place a label over the 24V bilge breakers to say 'Only Activate in an Emergency' Also asked for a temporary label to say 'Open in Emergency Only' at on bilge manifold above Pump to Overboard discharge valve. Willy was in attendance during the survey & he is arranging for the permanent label to be made up for the bilge manifold.
2/9 Fri.
Richie replaced elbow on GenSet overboard discharge and cleaned out salt build-up. New Certificate of Survey posted on port wheelhouse bulkhead and photocopy inserted into SMS.
3/9 Sat.
Email from Dave that no SUNDAY Bechtel runs any more on Torresian. Only the 18:30 GL4 to GL2 for Santos.
Email from Dave re: no parking by the pontoons & not on vacant block. This also applies on the weekends.

24hr exclusion Zones effective from today until 11/9 at Clinton Coal Facility.
Brody on board for maintenance day. Port gearbox 500hr service at 6013 hours. Stbd main engine 400hr service at 18,705hrs.
5/9 Mon.
Shaun did a 250 hour service on genset. Repaired saltwater leak on cooler. Next service due on genset is 23,234 hours.
Port side FM200 bottle replaced.
6/9 Tues.
The 06:00 run from GL2 to GL4 on week days is now a 06:15 departure. Double check schedule as Dave wasn't aware of the change.
7/9 Wed.
Donna was unable to playback CCTV.
No charts to affect chart portfolio for Aus NtM Edition 17.
9/9 Fri.
CCTV is recording now.
Walter changed filter on port main engine.
Email from Dave advising that Early morning crew on Torresian start time on Week Days has moved from 04:00 back to 03:00 because of a new Bechtel run at 04:20 from GL2. Therefore finish of shift has moved from 16:00 to 15:00.
11/9 Sun.
Segments of the iPad freezing up when a new page is trying to load. Not happening every time but nearly every day for the last 2 or 3 days.
13/9 Tues.
Fuel leak on GenSet because of a split return hose. Brody on board to replace the hose.
SMS updated by Jeff Davey. In Section 4 in Responibilities. 'Safety of Navigation (Plan)' page replaced. Minimum Under Keel Clearance (UKC) is 0.75 metres set at Chart Datum.
Email from Jeff Davey. New copies of the LSA/FFE Operational Manuals printed and placed on board and to be used in conjunction with the SMS.
16/9 Fri.
Brody on board to fix oil leak at oil cooler on GenSet. Brody cleaned out heat exchanger on GenSet. It was full of barnacles.
No charts to affect chart portfolio for Aus NtM Edition 18.
Email from Rob Mitchell as a response from the recent audits conducted on behalf of the clients Conoco Philips, QGC/Shell & Santos. Crew knowledge of the SMS unacceptable. Jeff Davey will be sent around to test all Masters & Crew on knowledge of the SMS and a Compliant or Non-Compliant result will be recorded. Non-Compliancy will result in disciplinary action.
