Hi Anthony
WEEK 1
Anchor winch has been fixed. Shaun replaced solenoid to resolve the problem.
The issue with the starboard engine surging had nothing to do with the throttles mate it was blocked fuel filters starving the engine for fuel. We must keep a close eye on the filters as there is Black Death in the fuel tanks. I have submitted a MRF about this issue.
On the first day on swing the CCTV was flickering then 5 cameras cut out Shaun replaced power pack under dash which fixed the issue.
As you'd be aware the port oil temp gets hot under load or high RPM as a result Canaipa is now the second vessel to depart on the 1635hr. This lowers the number of pax and reduces the load on Canaipa. This also helps Sunrise unload and load in time to depart for there 1700 off GL2. The masters on sunrise have brought this to my attention.
There has been a new run added on Sunday's @ 0800hrs from GL2 to GL4 run is on the schedule. See email.
The shore power lead has been replaced due to the old one being unsafe from exposed wires that some body taped up. The new lead runs along the pontoon to the aft of the vessel and then across the aft deck. The lead stays on the pontoon and we just roll the end of the lead on the pontoon.
Up dated MSDS and labeled unmarked spray bottles.
See email re bridge opening
WEEK 2
Port gearbox oil pressure gauge started to read 25 bar instead of 16 bar I had maintenance look at the issue and the put an external gauge on and found that the gauge on the dash is faulty so maintenance are chasing up a replacement.
Feet on seats. Dave had a complaint regarding pax placing their feet on the seats from a santos hierarchy so we have had to Inform pax that there are to be no feet on the seats at anytime. You can check the email if you please.
Week 3
Canaipa had a survey completed 22/06 please refer to email from Dave regarding a list of things that need to be rectified. We have ordered reflective tape for the top two Carly floots. Also ordered thick markers for fabric to write the vessels rego number on the life jackets as they all have to be marked.
Lodged MRF's
hose reel HR7 on pontoon for leaky valve and nozzle.
Black Death in fuel tanks. Have asked for a treatment plan or tanks to be cleaned out.
To have fuel filters changed.
Canaipa has been washed / bunkered fuel / water / pumped sullage. Vacuumed engine rooms out and changed out soaker pads.
