Hydrostatic release units due July26 on Epirb and 1 x Charley Float
Fire flaps on port side were too stiff to operate. Matt has removed the spring from the release mechanisms. They are easy to drop but just need to be manually clicked into place to reset.
Jet Bearing alarms going off. Brody inspected and all seems okay. Maintenance planned for this weekend. Stb Jet wiring harness was replaced. Hopefully all fixed. Seems to be fine no more alarms.
30-31 Vessel to slipway for maintenance on board for service on mains gearboxes and jet units.
5/6 Victron power system shut down. Restart system but no joy. Matt rebooted system and it's fine now. He doesn't know why it did that? Hasn't happened again.
6&7/6 Vessel to slipway for the weekend. See logs.
8/6 Port main engine lost it's belt causing overheating and dropped coolant. Fire alarm sounded and vessel returned to marina for maintenance to attend. Vessel stood down pending approval by client to return to site.
We have done our best to leave the vessel clean and ready for operation. Sorry if the fuel is a bit low but we were moved off the vessel before we got a chance to fuel it.
Best of luck hope you have a good swing
Cheers Donna.
