OFFSIGNING- JAMES BRUNDA
ONSIGNING- ANNE-MAREE KELLY
Hi Anne-Maree
Just a couple of things to handover.
General Comments:
- The vibration on the port side seems to be getting worse at 1200 RPM, I am unsure that if it is a shaft alignment issue or and engine mount issue. We shut down one Pt main at a time and could not pin point which engine its coming from, just know its definitley port side.
- Vessel has been scrubed down Bow,Stern and both sides.
- The gas sniffer has been serviced by Chris from Aiges.
- I have booked fuel for you for the 21st at 0745 and email sent to management.
- The old sullage documents have been sent to the office for filing and been scanned in.
Navigation:
- AUS Charts 245 and 246 onboard have not been complety updated to Edition 8. AUS 245 is still waiting for a permanet update NTM- 319 insert print out from the office. NTM 331 and 332 have been completed and entered on Data Web. I haven't enetered anything into your AHO paper register onboard.
- The Plotter and the time zero program is running well, no issues.
- The sounder has had abnormal readings up at QC4, could be just the transducer covered in shit or faulty. The slipping will tell the tale.
LSA
- Lettering has been replaced on rhe upper deck lifering.
- The safety card in the back seat of the passenger seats, has a slight error on it regarding the location of the liferings. New cards are being made up to change the location, amount and type of the liferings.
- I have ordered a stainless strap for the rescue tender.
FFE
- The fire extingushers in the SMS are incorrect and have been in discussions with management to get this changed. I am unsure why there is a foam on the upper deck and I believe there probably should be 2 more DP extintigushers in the main cabin, but thats a call for management to make.
- Fire hydrants and hoses are all operational.
Thats about it, enjoy the rest of the swing,
Jimmy
