<p>12/04 New <span style="font-family:lucida sans unicode,lucida grande,sans-serif">Genset</span> installed over the weekend. Dip stick is over the back not the front. Oil and coolant being used is the same as the mains. To start turn key to 'ON' press and hold the 'OVERRIDE' button in for a few seconds then turn key to 'START'. To stop just turn key 'OFF'. <span style="font-family:comic sans ms,cursive">DJM.</span></p> <p>All vessel documentation including chart corrections are now available on Share Point as per DataWeb communications. Paper docs for logs, garbage and oil only on board.<span style="font-family:comic sans ms,cursive">DJM.</span></p> <p>Vacuum cleaner bags were ordered but not received? <span style="font-family:comic sans ms,cursive">DJM</span></p> <p>Dan Layer joined the vessel Saturday 25/04</p> <p>I noticed small puddle of clean, maybe gear box, oil under the port gear box, inboard side. Brody is aware and said he'd have a look. Please monitor.</p> <p>After cleaning the genset sea strainer on Sunday 26/04 the pump did not self prime and no water was reaching the genset. I had to close the valve, unscrew the little plastic cap near the discharge hose and pour water into the pump. Just used the kettle. It worked and primed the pump. Noted sufficient discharge from the tell tale. Just something to be aware of.</p> <p> </p>
