<p>Howdy folks, welcome home</p> <p>Not much to report, just the following...</p> <p>The gas detector is finally back aboard</p> <p>Have followed up cockroach situation with Tennille. Pest control people booked for 1130 09 June.</p> <p>Main engines and genset serviced on 22 May</p> <p>Struts have been replaced on genset hatch</p> <p>MRF in for faulty emergency light in Stbd toilet. Have replaced bulb and still no go</p> <p>We have trained another 3 x casual deckhands on Torresian this swing</p> <p>Any emails of importance or interest have been flagged in the inbox</p> <p>Ron has fitted an extra tyre on the outside berth aft fender at GL4 as we are required to utilise this berth more often</p> <p>There are considerable changes to the Torresian run schedule commencing 03 June. See flagged emails</p> <p>Extra run at 0930 weds 01 June off island as per email from office</p> <p>Deckhand PFD is due for inspection in June 2016</p> <p>Test and tag due 03.06.16</p> <p>Torresian has a new heavier anchor on order. BK failed survey due to anchor size being inadequate, and ours is apparently the same</p> <p>Maintenance day has been postponed by a week from Sunday 05 June due to BK having an engine replaced</p> <p>Sullage was pumped on Monday 30 May</p> <p>Latest POLREP form on board filed in black plastic file with oil/garbage record books</p> <p>Wiped down accessible areas on main engines and jets. Replaced bilge pads under mains. There was a bit of diesel under port main. I suspect it was from last service as I can't find any leaks. Has been cleaned up. Monitor just in case there is a leak</p> <p> </p>
