* 25/2/26 , stores picked up, there is another 10kg bag of rags in the port void as there is 8kg in the store's cupboard, there is also in the port void brand new ropes of all sizes , 15 mts of 32 mm silver rope sent to cap spirit as requested from Gene, as there is plenty onboard here, no need to order more...
* JSA for personnel transfer to barge has been updated and can be signed off in Dataweb, Barge crew have radio on James Grant channel and converse with master when safe to board and safely disembarked , they also have a new frame onboard the Bruce to assist in maintaining 3 point contact when transferring to/from barge that was fitted for pm transfer 27/2/26
* replaced fwd spring at GL4
* 26/6/26 replaced stern line at GL3
* 28/2/26 both PORT and STBD mains had 500 hr service conducted
* 1/3/26 maintenance adjusted STBD throttle linkage at gearbox
* 2/3/26 maintenance adjusted STBD gearshift cable as was reported lagging in astern , all ok after using/operating dayshift
* genset had 250 hr service
* rudder alignment conducted
* tinted blinds fitted in wheelhouse had suction caps burning holes in the carpet on dash with burning smell and were fire hazard , was requested to submit hazard report
* the lifebuoys lights on the GL4 pontoon are all expired , email sent requesting to be actioned , 3/3/26 received email that works in progress
* 3/3/26 G Mitchell onboard and removed tinted blinds from wheelhouse and took them ashore
* maintenance fitted new car stereo and the usb is now stuck at auto play , so once you press the button to play the safety dvd , all your attention has to go to watching the dvd player , to know when to stop it so the passengers don't get repeated for the entire journey , and have the buttons pushed in the right spot for the next time you wish to play the safety DVD , by all means please try to change the autoplay , I give up after 26 goes of trying ,,,,😵💫
* MRF submitted for the port aft boarding door has crack in lower hinge and the catch to secure the door open is not ligning up correctly , door opens and closes properly however , Maintenance removed door and welded hinges and all works OK 4/3/26
* The Orange smoke flare in the grab kit expires in April , so a new one will need to ordered when April rolls around , the 2 x red hand held and 3 x para flares don't expire until end of 2027 , see image in photo library
* 5/3/26 maintenance replaced the saddles that hold the Morse control gearbox cable in position in Port and stbd engine rooms
* 8/3/26 topped up coolant for all 3 engines and new 5 Lt drum of coolant provided to vessel, both fuel shutoffs operated and reset, both fire dampers operated and reset, change anode in genset strainer , remove water from port and STBD engine rooms, changeout oil spill pads STBD engine room
* 9/3/26 chart corrections completed for edition 5 2026 , wreck salvaged from calliope river + MSQ ntm 096(T) 2026 Golding rear lead on south trees island unlit 18/3/26 0700-1700 hrs due to planned power outage
* 10/3/26 Carpet in main cabin come adrift and has contacted back down near stores cupboard entry
* Securite isssued by Gladstone VTS regarding floating logs and debris in harbour after flooding rain 9/3/26
* A Bridges completed 4 days master training 8/3/26-11/3/26 and operating vessel all good
