exstended dip sticks have been fitted added 4 litres of oil to each side to get proper readings. Only fill to half dipstick level as it will burn off if you put to full on dipstick
genset has been cranking and not starting first thing in the morning but starting second try, discussed with maintenance and it was suggested to press on the preheat button a bit longer than usual before the start button. Could be the glow plug is getting a bit old. Also voltage raising on panel to 16 volts from 13. Discussed this with maintenance and they have checked the charging output. They seem to think it is just the guage as it was same on the previous guage before they replaced it. Monitor.

have ordered some VB cord to tie down the port side entryway Matt
new fire detectors have been installed in engine rooms. The heat sensors have been set lower. Sometimes when shutting down engines and fans the heat will build up in engine rooms and set them off.
new sanitary bin calendar on inside door std side aft storage cupboard . Note weeks have changed
