Joined vessel 15/12/25 for 3 days
* 15/12/25 Charts corrected for edition 23 + 24 + 25 of note some depth changes east of north point and yellow scientific buoy at pelican banks in place, and dredging, bed levelling and survey operations for dredge Brisbane , pacific titan and Norfolk , navigate with caution
* 17/12/25 stbd main had cranking fault on ecu at startup in Marina , acknowledged and tried again and all working ok, advised maintenance fitter and tested and noted
* whilst training crew it was noticed the operation of the fire flap releases and the fuel shut off releases located in the fire panels were all stiff and difficult to operate, worked and lubricated all cables and catches manually by assisting at the opposite end for a couple of minutes, has seen the operation of said cables much easier
* If any new crew are coming on to train or sign off , it is a requirement when serving on aping vessels to acknowledge and sign off on aping HSE induction,... formerly each vessel used to do this via hard copy on each vessel, however nowadays this information and sign off is available on sharepoint... all that is required is to use the ipad assigned to each vessel and read and sign off with revision number , which is currently #003 and this keeps us clean when clients conduct vessel audits ð
* training S Wolff as master, he is all over it, ready to be signed sooner rather than later
