<p>Joined vessel 4/12/25 served for 6 days onboard Parangool up to 12/12/25 </p> <p>* 4/12/25 aft port door latch was replaced </p> <p>* 5/12/25 crew were to invited to end of year luncheon on the island , utilised single phase at qc4 , all went well</p> <p>* 10/12/25 stbd hydraulic slave cylinder for steering was replaced no leaks anymore all good, topped hydraulic resovoir on 12/12/25 after getting the 5lt top up drum refilled </p> <p>* 8/12/25 - 12/12/25 Spent 4 days removing , inspecting, cleaning 204 coastal life jackets onboard , 54 had really bad mould and are all good now , sun dried and stowed with securing clips not attached together and at max setting for ease of donning , all overdue checks are up to date now, fortnightly, 3 monthly, 6 monthly, yearly, 2 yearly in dataweb </p> <p>First aid kit serviced by lily at start of week , thanks Lily π saved me having to do it π</p> <p>There are 10 life jackets located in the inside stbd aft cabin vertical locker that require removal cleaning and mould killer applied and washed and sundried that I wasn't able to achieve before finishing, so could some upcoming master, any master , please order 2 x bottles of mould killer next order and finish off the cleaning of the last 10 jackets would be greatly appreciated π</p> <p>FYI for any one not reading every handover notes throughout the last 6 months , The EPIRB has been removed from the vessel 4/11/25 , deregistered as it not required for our operations, it used to be stowed on aft wall in wheelhouse </p> <p>Charts corrected for edition 24 + 25 of note dredging operations coming up with dredge Brisbane, Pacific Titan and Norfolk and some depth changes east of north point </p> <p>If the security pass has been used to access the MOT for refilling water bottles or whatever, mot security officer Gordon has requested that once you head back to the boat and swipe to go through, once we go through , could we please swipe it once more and spin the turnstile, as it registers a visitor is still on the island if we don't do it as requested </p> <p>* 12/12/25 Sean England supplied a pack of electrolyte ice blocks that are in the freezer , help yourself, if you run out ask the offfice for some more π</p> <p>boat runs well after recent slipping and hope all goes well , bye for now , merry Xmas and happy new year to allπ</p> <p>Oh yeah, i forgot , Parangool crew are supposed to wash down mot, at intervals im not sure of, i sent email requesting laminated copy of what is expected, i haven't hosed mot during my days served, coal dust comes with northerly east breeze, so hose off required sooner rather than later.
