Covering Brahminy Kite schedule for aping whilst brahminy kite being repowered,
Lines set up on both sides at CP3 and stbd side to at CP1 eastern berth , there is a forward spring set up at cp1 on the western side if required and takes little effort to transfer other if so desired,
At CP3 the vessel can be backed in Port side to berth on the northern side and shore power can be attached no problem
The lines are light but are satisfactory with about a week to go before Brahman kite back online.
Could I suggest that the lines are removed from berths once at aping once vessel is no longer required to prevent clutter and sun damage as the vessel may be used on the project in the future., and be stored and labelled for Nancy wake at slipway, all 4 fwd springs are same length with 2 eyes and all other lines , fwd aft and aft spring are also same lengths with 1 eye , no need to label individually 👍
Maintenance are focused on brahminy kite and there are quite a few mrfs that need attending to, but no show stoppers
Aircon contractors attended to diagnose half of ac units that don't work, aces inspected shore power cable, bunzl contractors attended to check slings for tender
The stbd genset has sticky fuel stop solenoid and can be manipulated to be operational at startup, the main cabin fire alarm is isolated as the stbd midship call point needs to reset at broken glass panel , other zones still operating
UHF channel 60 is utilised and security are listening on a radio provided by sealink for pax numbers and clear to depart calls from cp1 , please collect radio and return to office after bk back online
Brahminy kite ipad and charger on board for emails from client that don't go to Nancy wake
Please sign off in sharepoint aping hse induction electronically when new crew join Nancy wake on Nancy wake ipad, crew will walk you through this
Upper deck inside and out, and main deck internally, can be utilised by pax, but not the roof deck as we are running 4 x crew
Should all go well , as it has so far , we have been covering for 3 weeks ,
Have fun and call anytime for more information, cheers Nathan
